DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
[Project No. 13-039]
Green Island Power Authority and Albany Engineering Corporation;
Notice of Availability of Environmental Assessment
In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969
and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (Commission)
regulations, 18 CFR part 380, the Office of Energy Projects has
reviewed an application submitted by Green Island Power Authority and
Albany Engineering Corporation to amend its Green Island Hydroelectric
Project license (FERC No. 13) and has prepared an environmental
assessment (EA) for the project. The Green Island Project is located at
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Green Island-Troy Lock and Dam
on the Hudson River in Albany County, New York. The project occupies
federal land under the jurisdiction of the Corps.
The EA contains staff's analysis of the potential environmental
effects of the proposed action and concludes that approval of the
amendment application, with appropriate environmental measures, would
not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the
quality of the human environment.
The EA may be viewed on the Commission's website at http://www.ferc.gov using the ``eLibrary'' link. Enter the docket number
excluding the last three digits in the docket number field to access
the document. For assistance, contact FERC Online Support at

Commission's Public Reference Room, due to the proclamation declaring a
National Emergency concerning the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19),
issued by the President on March 13, 2020.
